Ebonyi NLC Boss Applauds All Best Logistics for Giving Priority To Staff Welfare

Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC), Ebonyi State Council, has lauded the Management of All Best Logistics for providing a conducive working environment for the company's employees and for giving priority attention to staff welfare.

Chairperson of NLC in the State, Comrade Ogugua Egwu made the commendation when he paid a familiarization visit to the Management of the company recently.

Ogugua noted that it was commended that All Best Logistics was paying 

her workers above the new minimum wage.

He also thanked the management for employing over 90 unemployed youths, majority of whom are from Ebonyi State. 

According to him, more of such initiative by individuals is going to assist in taking Ebonyi youths out of the streets. 

Ogugua assured the Management of the Company of the support and partnership of NLC, even as he urged them to allow their workers to register with the NLC, noting that its benefits for both the workers and the Company were innumerable.

The NLC boss, who visited in company of other Labour Leaders, took time to tour the facilities in the company.

Also speaking, the Chairman of ASUU-EBSU, Comrade Ikechuku Igwenyi, commended the management of the Company for showing what he described as an uncommon interest in their staff welfare and job security. 

According to him, we are in a country where employers of Labour are more interested in exploiting workers to their advantage, with little or no interest in their welfare and job security, but All Best Logistics is making the difference.

The General Manager of All Best Logistics Limited, Mgbada Kingsley, explained that it is a logistics company with a major focus on haulage and other services within Ebonyi and other parts of the country.

He further explained that in All Best Logistics, the interests and welfare of workers are given adequate attention, disclosing that the least paid staff receives above the new minimum wage.

He stated that 99.9 percent of the staff of the company are not just graduates of Ebonyi State University, but are all youths from Ebonyi State.

He thanked the leadership of NLC for identifying with the Company and assured of their readiness to partner the organized Labour in the State.
