The Ivo Youth Forum (IYF) has described the administration of Chief Emmanuel Ogbonna Ajah as the most youth friendly ever, in the history of the council, stressing that he has made youth Inclusiveness and development, the fulcrum and hallmark of his Administration In Ivo Local Government Area since assumption of office, contrary to the concocted falsehood peddled in some quarters of social media by the estranged and estwhile factional leader of ohaneze youth, Mr Damian Okafor, in the name of an open letter to the state Governor, Chief Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru.
The leadership of Ivo Youth Forum while reacting to the malicious and fallacious claims by Mr Okafor however, noted that the forum is not surprised by the conduct of Damian Okafor as it has been his stock in trade over the years, stressing that Okafor has been in the business of character assassination, spread of fake news and malicious fabrication against well respected and revered leaders of Ivo in particular and the state in general.
The forum, in a statement signed by the president, Comr. UKASON CHURCHILL and secretary General, Comr. Ejem James and made available to journalist in Abakaliki,
called on general public to disregard anything coming from Damian Okafor as he is neither a member of the forum nor an Exco member and as such, has no legal right to speak for, or on behalf of the Forum.
The statement reads in part;
"The attention of the leadership of Ivo Youths' Forum {IYF} has been drawn to the recent deceptive, repugnant, malicious and baseless allegations deliberately concocted by one Mr. Damian Okafor on behalf of Ivo Youths' Forum and posted in different social media platforms against the person of Hon. Chief Ajah Emmanuel Ogbonna (Confirm) in the guise of an open letter to the executive Governor of Ebonyi State, His Excellency, Rt. Hon. Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru.
"Notably, Engr. Damian Okafor or whatever he calls himself is neither a member of Ivo Youths' Forum nor an official of the forum and therefore cannot write on behalf of the forum.
"However, a glimse at the allegations foretells myopic and epileptic reasoning adduced by the apogee of irresponsibility and shared jealousy.
"To put the records straight, in the security sector, Ivo LGA was completely volatile, out of hand and in the state of agony before the incumbent council chairman, Hon. Chief Emmanuel Ajah came onboard. Incessant kidnappings especially from Fulani Herders had eaten deeply into the fabrics, nooks and crannies of Ishiagu Community while unknown gunmen turned Akaeze Community into a battlefield where they showcased their superiority on a daily basis. As God may have it, the Emmanuel Ajah administration came on board and immediately banned the sale of cow meats in Ivo LGA which the Fulani Herders had been hiding under to commit heinous crimes and that instantaneously reduced kidnapping to its nearest minimum in Ishiagu community .
"Furthermore, at Akaeze, the Emmanuel Ajah administration immediately installed an agile army checkpoint at Ugwuagba, Akaeze DC headquarters which promptly brought the activities of unknown gunmen to a halt and returned Akaeze Community to its original peaceful state which has brought accolades and encomiums to the Emmanuel Ajah led administration internally and externally.
"The leadership of Ivo Youths' Forum is also aware that the Emmanuel Ajah administration also installed the army checkpoints at Ojukwu Bunk and the one along Mile 2 - Afikpo axis and since their installations had been supporting them socially and economically and of which Emmanuel Ajah's proactive and reactive measures in the security sector has made Ivo LGA one of the most peaceful LGAs in Ebonyi State contrary to the usual falsehood being concocted and disseminated by this same media business man, Damian Okafor whose business is centred on assassinating the character of the incumbent Executive chairman of Ivo LGA in order to impress his paymaster/sponsor whom had been desperate to become the next council boss of Ivo LGA.
"Also worthy of Note, the Etani Bridge was actually started during the administration of Hon. Chief Onyebuchi Ogbadu, the immediate past council boss of Ivo LGA but it stopped halfway but when Emmanuel Ajah came on board, having been a leader who detests anything called abandoned project and having known the importance of that Etani Bridge to Ivo people, he went ahead to complete the bridge of which Ivo Youths' Forum {IYF}, royal fathers as well as some men and women of Goodwill had congratulated Emmanuel Ajah for completing that almost impossible and capital intensive Etani Bridge and the same was applicable to the judiciary building amidst multiple economic empowerments, scholarships to multiple students as well as payment of bursaries to Ivo LGA undergraduates twice in an academic session.
"No doubt, Damian Okafor's vendetta expressions after he was removed as SA on media to Hon. Chief Emmanuel Ajah because he ate salaries of ten media aides of the said council boss who were formerly under his ministry shows that he is suffering from incurable amnesia, uncontrollable greed and extreme delusion or dim-sightedness . Otherwise, how can a person in his right senses state that the Ivo Local Government chairman has been the one causing problems in Ivo when the Chairman is actually the solutions in line with the visions of His Excellency, Rt. Hon. Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru. If it were not amnesia and delusion, why won't Damian have a deep memory of the captivating records of Hon. Ajah Emmanuel ogbonna which are visible to the blind, audible to the deaf and palpable to the lame.
"To this end, the general public is by this write-up notified of the antics of desperados who use Damian as a tool and enemies of the peace and progress we currently have in Ivo LGA aptly and ably led by Hon. Chief Emmanuel Ajah {Confirm)".
