Ace comic entertainer, Chizoba Nwokpoku popularly known as 'NWANYI ABAKALIKI' on Friday distributed study materials to pupils in some selected primary Schools in the Ebonyi State.
Nwanyi Abakaliki admonished the pupils to take their studies seriously and be obedient to their parents and teachers so that they will make it in life.
Nwanyi Abakaliki, a comedian from Ebonyi State is plying her trade in Lagos, the Nigeria Commercial center, said, "I am here to see you and how you all are doing with your studies and give you some books and school bags that will help you in your studies. I urge you all be good children, respect your parents and teachers. You know you're the leaders of tomorrow, so study hard so that you will be great in future and even greater than me", Nwanyi Abakaliki advised.
In their separate responses, the head teacher of Community Primary School Echara, Ezza South Local Government Area, Dr. Joseph Elom, his counterpart in Echege Central School, Ukawu in Onicha Local Area, Mr Abba Okoro; the Head Teacher of St Theresa Nursary and Primary School, Abakaliki, Rev Sister Juliet Ugwa, thanked Nwanyi Abakaliki and her team for the show of love and display of passion for the Education of the children and prayed God to bless and keep her in all her endeavors.
On his part, a pupil, little master Oroke Meshach, on behalf of others thanked Nwanyi Abakaliki for the gesture and prayed God to bless her.
Nwanyi Abakaliki was accompanied to the visit by her comedian colleague, 'Oga Landlord' and the management team among others.
Recall that Chizoba Nwokpoku A.K.A. NWANYI ABAKALIKI is a native of Okuzu Ukawu in Onicha Local Government Area of the state and has distinguished herself in her chosen career ( COMEDY) .
She believed in the popular saying that 'charity begins at home', hence she decided to support the Educational need of pupils from her home state with study materials.
