Rep Ogah Kicks Off 46th Birthday Celebration With Visit to Custodial Centers, Ophanage, Others

The member representing Ikwo/Ezza South Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Comrade Chinedu Ogah OON, have kicked off his 46th birthday anniversary celebration with a visit to Custodial Centers within the state.

Ogah, who has secured his return ticket to the Green chamber of the National Assembly on the platform of the All Progressives Congress APC, in the 2023 election, kicked off the event on Tuesday, with a visit to Afikpo Custodial Center, where he distributed foods, clothing, footwears, toiletries among other things and charged the inmates to be hopeful that one day, they will regain freedom.
Ogah, represented by Mr Emmanuel Chukwu, assured them that he will adopt a legal framework in securing the release of some of the awaiting trial inmates. He tasked them to remain prayerful and have a change of character so that they will not return to the facility after they regained freedom.

Speaking during the visit, the controller, ACC Stephen Aneke, expressed joy over the visit and Commended the Federal lawmaker for the gesture, noting that it is the first of its kind that a political leader of such caliber is visiting the center.

Similarly, Hon Ogah, in a company  of mamout crowd, admirers and supporters, also visited Abakaliki correctional facility, the centre of the menial job seekers, popularly known as Okpoku-Ndu-Oru, opposite Pa Ngele Oruta Township Stadium, Abakaliki, where he distributed food, cash and other gifts to them.
The Federal lawmaker equally visited Old People's Home, Orphanage Home, beggers' corner opposite St. Theresa Cathedral, all in Abakaliki town and Alex Ekwueme Federal Teaching, Abakaliki where he doled millions of naira with different items to the indigent patients to clear their hospital bills among other things.

Aside the items mentioned above, Comrade Ogah also shared cash gift and dispensed premium motor spirit pms, to hundreds of motorists and motorcycle operators free of charge as jubilant supporters moved with him on a motorcade round major streets within the Abakaliki metropolis.

The event continue on Wednesday, with inauguration of various projects executed by the lawmaker across his constituency.
