Special Assistant to Governor David Umahi on Internal Security, Hon Panchris Ikechukwu Eze, have warned those that are still engaging in crime in Ebonyi State to desist from such act or be ready to face the consequences of their actions, noting that those engaging in crime are risking their lives.
He said, "if you're still engaging in crime in Ebonyi State, I tell you, you're risking your life.
Our job is to protect life and property of the residents of the state and if you're the one that wants to hinder us from doing our job, I am sorry for you. It is either you relocate out of the state or be ready to face the consequences of your actions".
The special Assistant to the Governor on Internal Security maintained that Ebubeagu, the police and other security agencies in the state are in good working synergy towards combating of crime in the state.
"I want to tell you that Ebubeagu security, the police and other security agencies are working together and I assure you that criminals has no hiding place in the state".
