#EndSARS: Umahi constitutes panel to investigate police brutalites in Ebonyi

Governor David  Nweze Umahi of  Ebonyi State has set up an 8-man Committee to look into the continuous killings and human rights violations in the state.

The Committee led by the Former Chief Judge of the state, Justice Aloy Nweke Nwankwo,  were immediately sworn in today at the New Governor's office, Centenary City Abakaliki.

Other members of the Committee include:Emmanuel Onwe(Esq) - Member & Secretary, AIG Kelvin Opoke (Rtd) - Member, Igwe Uche - Member, Olisa Nwuruku - Member, Emmanuel Obasi - Member, Barr Louisa Nwebonyi - Member, and Christopher Okorie - Member

According to the governor, the Committee are to commence actions as soon as possible to ensure that there is positive change as it concerns these violations.
