Nwifuru's Aide Backs Abakaliki Youths Parliament, Calls For Unity, Love

The senior special assistant to the Governor on road maintenance and infrastructure Hon. Ben Nwovu has expressed his total support to the Abakaliki youths parliament and urged members to prioritize unity, love and peace, pledging to champion for the welfare and inclusion of youths in the scheme of things in the council.

The Governor's aide made the assertion while receiving the Parliamentrians on a familiarization visit at his Amegu Community residence in Abakaliki Local Government Area of the State.
He urged leadership of the parliament to be steadfast in their dealings and endeavor to have an office, while stressing the need for leaders of the council to try and be  giving a proper settlement to their boys by providing jobs, cars and and houses so as to compete with their counterpart of other Local Government Areas in Izzi clan.  He commended APC National treasurer Mr. Mathew Uguru and works commissioner Engr. Lebechi Mbam whom he said have impacted positively to the lives of Abakaliki youths. 

"My philosophy is that I can never work against any body or sign petition against anybody, any one God blesses I will celebrate with the person and give him or her my support. Please try and be carrying yourselves along, if you see good anything that will help your brothers don't eat alone, let others know. What ever you want from me, consider it done" he said
Nwovu further urged the youths to redouble their support to the policies and programmes of Governor Nwifuru's led administration to reap more dividends of democracy.

He appreciated the parliamentrians highly for the honor and respect giving to him and wished them well. 

Earlier in his mission statements, the speaker of the parliament Hon. Sunday Nwoba commended the Governor's aide for his commitment and dedication to youths building especially in the area of education, empowerements and jobs in the council and his impactful leadership during his tenure as president of Nnodo youths forum.
He noted that the visit was solemnly to inform him the existence of the parliament as one of the critical stakeholders of Abakaliki LGA, and solicited for his total support and fatherly advise for them to thrive. 

The speaker added that the parliament was formed to bring every youth together, nurture and reshape their futures and not to fight stakeholders and leaders of Abakaliki, while announcing their plans to tour round all the communities in the council to inculcate their youths the right parts of life. 

He maintained that Abakaliki youths parliament remains apolitical and devoid of cultism, kindredship but supportive to every government in power. The speaker further noted that the parliament is open for every youths irrespective of their political affiliations. 


In their separate speeches, the leader of Abakaliki youths parliament Hon. Ekene, deputy leader Hon. Ruben Edeh, secretary Barr. Joshua Itumo, Amegu Unuphu Community representative Hon. Tochukwu Nwalegu among others said the core value of the parliament was to reshape the future of youths in the council, noting that every community in Abakaliki LGA is well represented.
They stated that the youths are united and stronger, adding that any responsibilities entrusted on them would be delivered accordingly. They further expressed the parliament unflinching support to the programmes and policies of Governor Francis Nwifuru in the State.


Meawhile, the parliamentrians were well entertained by the Governor's aide as they smiled home  with the sum of three hundred thousand.
