Obasanjo visited Adeleke shortly after the governor was declared the winner of the keenly contested election, where he secured 511,067 votes to defeat his closest challenger, Bola Oyebamiji of the All Progressives Congress, who polled 444,815 votes.
The former President’s visit came as Adeleke began celebrating his successful bid for a second term in office.
A video of the meeting showing Adeleke welcoming Obasanjo has also surfaced online, attracting reactions from Nigerians.
