As the APC campaign train arrives in Ohaozara, the party proudly presents Engr. Osborn Nweze Umahi as its Chairmanship candidate for the forthcoming Local Government Council Elections.
A young and accomplished professional, Engr. Umahi graduated with a degree in Civil Engineering and proceeded to the University of Aberdeen, where he earned an MSc in Financial Management. His professional journey has taken him through some of Nigeria’s leading institutions, including AMCON, UBA and NNPCL, where he gained valuable experience in finance, corporate management and the energy sector.
For the past five years, he has further strengthened his leadership and management experience through active involvement in the administration of Osborn Group, a multi-sector enterprise with interests in hospitality, construction and oil services.
His profile reflects more than academic excellence; it demonstrates capacity, exposure, discipline and preparedness.
His emergence also speaks to the deliberate vision of the Governor of Ebonyi State, Rt. Hon. Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru, to create space for young, capable and forward-thinking leaders to participate meaningfully in governance and take responsibility for the future of Ebonyi.
Today, Ohaozara welcomes a candidate who brings youthful energy, professional competence and corporate experience to grassroots leadership.
