I'll work With All Shades Of Interest - Chinedu Mkpuma

The APC Chairmanship flag bearer for Ezza South Local Government in the forthcoming LGA election in Ebonyi State, Barr. Chinedu Mkpuma has urged the people of the area to remain resolute in the party, saying he would work with all shades of interest when he finally come on board.

Mkpuma stated this in a press release issued on Sunday by his  media team and made available to newsmen in Abakaliki the Ebonyi state capital.

He appreciated the stakeholders in the area for their relentless efforts in ensuring the LGA election records  success across the eleven political wards in the LGA.

He noted his administration would ensure all round community development before the expiration of his tenure.

"As the local government campaign begins in Ebonyi State on Monday the 3rd August,2026,  I wish to call on stakeholders from Ezza South LGA to avail theselves the opportunity to turnout enmass to participate fully in the mobilization of party faithful from our various wards".

Even as the campaign train kick starts in Ikwo Local Government  Area on Monday to flag off the state wide campaign that would usher in new council chairmen and  councilors who  are expected to pilot the affairs of the third tier of government in our dear state come 22nd August,2026 it won't be out of place if  our  major stakeholders join our Wonder working governor His Excellency Rt. Hon. Blder Francis  Ogbonna Ñwifuru to perform one of his constitutional obligations which empowers him to declare open the LGA election campaigns in any local government of choice.

"In the same vein, I wish to thank the stakeholders of Ezza South LGA especially the outgoing chairman, Hon. Mrs Euphemia Nneka Nwali , the Senator representing Ebonyi Central Senatorial District, Senator Kenneth Eze, My campaign Director General, Chief Lazarus Nweru Ogbee, My Lord justice Alloy Nweke Nwankwo former Chief judge Ebonyi State and other major and critical stakeholders of our Council  for their relentless efforts at ensuring the forthcoming elections is conducted in a seamless manner.

"My promise to everyone is that none of our efforts shall go unrewarded during and after the election. When elected , we will  ensure that all of you will be carried along in our policies and programs . I have said it time without number that our administration will focus on community driven projects. Every community in Ezza South must have a very significant life touching project before the expiration of our tenure.

"For the elected and appointees of government who are already in the system , I wish to express my sincere gratitude not only on the support given to our principal, Governor Francis Nwifuru ,but for your maturity in reaching out to our people. Your commitment to the "people 's charter of needs' mantra of the governor cannot be over emphasized. When we finally come on board , we will work as a team to ensure that Ezza South of your dream is achieved.

"To our party faithful and supporters, I humbly invite you to be present at the Onueke township stadium on Tuesday  the 4th of August to cheer up our Governor and the APC State Chairman, Chief Stanley Okoro Emegha who will be at the venue to hand the party flag over us to further authentic us as the flag bearer of our dear Party APC for 22 nd August' 2026 LGA Election. 

"Lastly , my promise to the people of Ezza South is that we will work with all shades of interest. We will not discriminate amongst ourselves.  But I want us to always have it at the back of our mind that our primary objective is to entrench all inclusiveness and return all APC candidates elected come 16th January and 16th February, 2027".
