ADC Senatorial Candidate For Ebonyi Central, Dr Ugo Magnus Pays Condolence Visit To Rotimi Amechi Over Mother's Death

The African Democratic Congress (ADC) candidate for Ebonyi Central Senatorial District, Dr. Ugo Magnus Kel has paid a heartfelt condolence visit to his father figure and political mentor, His Excellency Rt. Hon. Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi, the Vice Presidential candidate of the ADC over the death of his mother,Late Mrs. Mary Amaech.


During the visit, Dr Ugo Magnus described the death of the 89-year-old matriarch as a painful and irreparable loss, not only to the Amaechi family but also to all who had the privilege of encountering her warmth, wisdom, compassion and unwavering Christian faith.

He recounted that Mama Mary Amaechi was the embodiment of humility, dignity and selfless service. Her life was a testament to the enduring values of godliness, integrity, peace and love for humanity.


Dr Ugo Magnus acknowledged that Mama Mary Amechi lived a long, purposeful and fulfilled life. She was not merely the mother of Rt. Hon. Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi; she was the moral compass and quiet strength behind a man whose contributions to the development of Rivers State and Nigeria have earned him national and international recognition. The values of discipline, courage, resilience and service that have distinguished Amaechi's public life undoubtedly bear the imprint of the quality of upbringing he received from his mother.


While acknowledging the profound grief that accompanies the loss of a beloved mother, Dr Ugo Magnus urged the former Minister, his wife, Dame Judith Amaechi, their children and the entire Amaechi family to find comfort in the certainty that Mama Mary lived an honourable life, served God faithfully and departed leaving behind a legacy worthy of celebration rather than despair.


He also sympathise with the people of Ubima, the entire Ikwerre Ethnic Nationality, friends, political associates and all those whose lives were enriched by Mama's kindness and motherly affection.

Though her earthly journey has come to an end, her memory will remain evergreen in the hearts of all who knew her. Hers was a life of purpose, honour and uncommon devotion to God and humanity."

Dr Ugo Magnus prayed that Almighty God would grant the soul of Late Mrs. Mary Amaechi eternal rest and comfort all those mourning her passing.
