Giving to the Needies Mission International for Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru reelection, GINMI 4 FON has flagged off a statewide sensitization and mobilization campaign to ensure maximum participation in the ongoing Permanent Voters Card, PVC, registration exercise ahead of the 2027 general elections. This on Friday.

The initiative, under the banner “FON 2027: Consolidating the People’s Charter of Needs Agenda ”, is aimed at deepening democratic engagement and ensuring that every eligible Ebonyian is politically empowered to decide the future of the state.

Addressing stakeholders, community leaders, and youth groups during the flag-off in Abakaliki, the State Coordinator, Dr Reuben Uche Egwu, delivered an emotionally charged call to action.

“This is not politics as usual. This is about securing the future of our children and protecting the good works already happening across Ebonyi,” Dr. Egwu said.

“I urge every Ebonyian of voting age, in the 13 LGAs and 171 wards, to troop out, get registered, and be armed with your Permanent Voters Card. A PVC is not just a card; it is your voice, your power, and your shield.”

Egwu further charged citizens to vote massively for His Excellency, Rt. Hon. Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru, Governor of Ebonyi State, to enable him continue his people-oriented programmes under the _People’s Charter of Needs_ agenda.

“Governor Nwifuru has shown capacity, compassion, and commitment.

"From infrastructure to human capital development, from rural inclusion to youth empowerment, the foundations have been laid. To consolidate these gains, we must return him in 2027 with overwhelming numbers,” he added.

Meanwhile at the closure of the exercise, GINMI 4 FON paid courtesy to the state's chapter of the apex Igbo sociocultural organization, Ohaneze Ndigbo, and commended their efforts in deepening democratic engagements by also supporting the Governor's reelection.

Also speaking at the event, leaders of the Ebonyi State Chapter of Ohaneze Ndigbo commending the group, describing the exercise  as “timely and patriotic,” noting that Igbo unity and political consciousness are critical to influencing governance at both state and national levels.
