Igwe Lauds Tinubu's Approval For Establishment Of Army Training Center In Ebonyi

The Ebonyi State Coordinator ,Tinubu Renewed Hope Ambassadors and Board Member Nigerian Ports Authority,His Excellency,Barr.(Chief) Eric Kelechi Igwe, PhD has commended President Asiwaju Ahmed Bola Tinubu, GCFR for approving the establishment of a new Nigerian Army Training Centre in Ebonyi State,Southeast Nigeria, describing it as a landmark decision to ensuring equitable development that will strengthen national security and foster inclusivity across all regions of the Country.

In a statement issued on Sunday,Igwe pointed out that the creation of Army Training Centre in Ebonyi State, Southeast will join ranks with the existing depots in Kaduna, Zaria, Northern region and Osogbo , Osun State ,Southwest.

"This landmark decision is a testament to the President's unwavering commitment to ensuring equitable development, strengthening national security, and fostering inclusivity across all regions of the country.

"Mr President, the creation of the training center, which joins the ranks of the existing depots in Kaduna and Osogbo, represents a significant step toward decentralizing military training facilities and enhancing the operational readiness of the Nigerian Army. This initiative will not only bolster the country’s defense capacity but also generate economic opportunities, improve infrastructure, and promote peace and stability in the Southeast region".

Igwe said that the region, southeast has long Sought greater inclusion in national defence projects and the approval is historic milestone.

I commend your administration for recognizing the importance of this project and prioritizing the welfare and security of all Nigerians"

While calling on Media, Southeast stakeholders and citizens to support the President's initiatives , the Ebonyi State Renewed Hope Ambassadors Coordinator said that the initiative will strengthen nation's security architecture.

"I therefore call on media platforms, Southeast stakeholders, and citizens to amplify this remarkable achievement and support the implementation of this initiative, which will undoubtedly strengthen our nation’s security architecture and foster development in the Southeast".

He expressed gratitude to President Bola Tinubu for his effort in building more United Nigeria.
