Nnamdi Kanu's Conviction Extremely Provocative to Ndigbo ;Precursor to 1967-1970 Events - Ohanaeze Youth

The Apex sociocultural Youth organization of Igbo extraction worldwide Ohanaeze Youth Council(OYC) has described Justice James Kolawole Omortosho as hired Judge to murder the rule of law in Nigeria in a bid to persecute the Igbos. The council noted that Nnamdi Kanu's Conviction on 20th November 2025 is extremely Provocative to Ndigbo, a Precursor to 1967-1970 Events.

It is commendable development that the Nigerian government under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has fallen into a political trap concerning Nnamdi Kanu's conviction, and the consequences of this trap will be unimaginable and unavoidable.

While addressing journalists in Abuja, Comrade Igboayaka O Igboayaka, National President of Ohanaeze Youth Council, characterized Justice James Kolawole Omortosho's judgement as a miscarriage of justice that seems to cater to the desires of specific political oppressors and profiteers. This judgement has tarnished Justice James Kolawole Omortosho's reputation in Nigeria's justice system.

The verdict of Justice James Kolawole Omortosho implies that Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, Indigenous People Of Biafra IPOB, and Ndigbo are regarded as terrorists.

However, the verdict and sentence delivered today by Justice James Kolawole Omortosho will not be upheld. Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), is not a terrorist. The Igbo people are not terrorists. It is common knowledge who the real terrorists are, and the world, including the United States under the leadership of Donald Trump, is aware of their identity.

In alignment with Nnamdi Kanu, we posed the same question to Justice James Kolawole Omortosho "Where is the Law"? 'Where lies the legal foundation?' We acknowledge that the prosecution did not substantiate any claims against Ndigbo Nnamdi Kanu

The judgment made by Justice James Kolawole Omortosho is a judgment orchestrated to silence Ndigbo because of the voice of Nnamdi Kanu. We have known terrorists and politicians who have used inciting words to commit violence, yet they have not been convicted by a competent court of jurisdiction.Notably, the likes of former President Mohammadu Buhari, El Rufai, Gumi, and others are protected by the same law that Justice James Kolawole Omortosho allegedly used to convict Mazi Nnamdi Kanu. Indeed, Ndigbo are potential victims in the Nigerian justice system.

It's imperative to note that the use of a microphone to advocate for self-determination or call for a referendum does not radicalize individuals into terrorists. The Nigerian government, under the leadership of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, should avoid actions that might push the new generation of Igbo people to the limit, as the events of 1967-1970 will not be repeated against the Igbo people in this era; rather, any sudden provocation against them will be met with formidable resistance.

Justice James Kolawole Omortosho's judgment against Mazi Nnamdi Kanu suggests that he was executing a national assignment to uphold the written judgment already influenced by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu led federal government and British agents/individuals in Nigeria.

Justice James Kolawole Omortosho conviction against Nnamdi Kanu was not based on the laws or constitutional provisions but he pronounced a political written judgement to victimize Ndigbo through Nnamdi Kanu.

We implore Nnamdi Kanu and his legal team to exhaust all constitutional avenues in challenging this tribalistic judgment delivered by Justice James Kolawole Omortosho by appealing to the court of appeal.

We hereby take this opportunity to inform the Nigerian Government and its collaborator, the British Government, that there are over 10 million individuals in Igboland who share Nnamdi Kanu's sentiments, and verily more dogged than on Biafra actualization.

The determination of Ndigbo to pursue self-preservation and self-determination in Nigeria is an objective that must be attained, even at great personal cost or last PINT of our blood, whether with or without Nnamdi Kanu. The journey of Biafra Restoration is like the journey of the dead of no Return.
The dissolution of Nigeria in this dispensation is a scientifically predictable natural occurrence that elemental forces cannot halt, Comrade Igboayaka O Igboayaka revealed.
