2027; Ebonyi Community Endorses Tinubu, Nwifuru,Ogah's Reelection

The people of Amagu Erimogwudu ancient Kingdom in Ikwo  Local Government Area of Ebonyi State, on Saturday, 18th day of October, 2025, rolled out their drums in celebrating what they described as impactful Leaderships of President Ahmed Bola Tinubu, Governor Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru and their son, Comrade Chinedu Ogah, member representing Ikwo/Ezza South Local Government Areas in the federal House of Representatives.

The gathering was an official endorsement of the President Tinubu, Governor Francis Nwifuru and Comrade Chinedu Ogah for another term come 2027 general election.
Amagu as a community is made up of Ndiagu and Ndufu with four electoral wards.it has 25 villages and It is in Ikwo South Development Center.

 The endorsement was equally extended to the Ebonyi State Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Chief Stanley Okoro Emegha, for re-election in the coming election. 

Speaking on behalf of the governor, Hon. Paul Nwogha commended Hon. Chinedu Ogah, the member representing Ikwo/Ezza-South Federal Constituency, for his proactive leadership and tireless efforts in delivering the dividends of democracy to the grassroots. He also expressed gratitude to the people of Amagu Erimogwudu for their continued support, which has contributed immensely to the transformation and smooth administration of the state.
In his remarks, Ogah expressed deep appreciation to the people of Amagu Erimogwudu for their unwavering solidarity, which he said has sustained his impactful service since 2019. He encouraged residents to obtain their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) and actively participate in the forthcoming elections, describing the act of voting as a vital tool for deepening good governance and democratic accountability.

He further emphasized the importance of civic responsibility and warned that those who fail to obtain voter cards should not benefit from government-funded projects and programs within the community.
The endorsement event, which witnessed a massive turnout, was attended by top political figures and stakeholders including; Hon. Paul Nwogha, representative of Governor Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru, Hon. Chinedu Nwali, Deputy State APC Chairman, representing Chief Stanley Okoro Emegha, Hon. Charles Ofoke, State APC Secretary, Members of the APC State Working Committee, Rt. Hon. Chinedu Onah, Deputy Speaker, Ebonyi State House of Assembly, Chief Itapa Azuobu, the APC South East Zonal Secretary, Hon. Edeke Desmond, Special Assistant to the Governor on Internal Security, Hon. Monday Nwigbo, Member II, Local Government Service Commission, Hon. Mrs. Chinasa Nwanchor, Coordinator, Ikwo South Development Center
Traditional institutions were well represented, with His Royal Highness, Eze Isaiah Otubo, leading the royal delegation. The event also featured notable academics from the College of Professors, commissioners including Hon. Dr. Ilang Donatus and Hon. Oguzor Offia Nwali, and numerous grassroots support groups such as Ada Ikukuoma Women, Ebonyi Market Women, and Ugwumba Cultural Dance Odeligbo, among many others.
The people of Amagu Erimogwudu have once again demonstrated their unwavering commitment to democratic values, stability, and developmental progress by reaffirming their support for leaders who have consistently prioritized the welfare of the people and the advancement of the state and the nation.
The 25 village chairmen, the two town Union President and the president General, Amagu General Assembly were all present during the well attended event.
