Border Peace Commissoner Intervene In Brewing Crises In Osegbe Community

As part of effort to resolve alleged brewing crisis in osegbe community the Commissioners for boarder peace and conflict resolution Prof. Paul Awo-Nwobasi intervene in the alleged brew crisis in komoro community.Addressing the stake holder of Okomoro community Prof Paul Awo-Nwobasi advocated for the unity of ezza speaking people and kori speaking people in okomoro community. 
   
Prof paul Awo-Nwobasi , called on the leadership of Okomoro community to devoid any form of marginalization of the Okporo people  charge the people of okopmoro to always report matters relating to the kori speaking people to the traditional ruler ward counsellor and the town union president of Okporo community. He further charged that all the cases relating to the matter pending in various institutions should be withdrawn within one month to pave way for financial resolution on the matter. 
      
The commissioner further stress that his ministry will visit the community within a view to reaching out to the elders and leaders of the community to be able to find out the possible means of  integrating Okporo people into the main affairs of the community. He thank the town ruler of the community for his peace display and urge them to rally round the palace for reconciliation of all pending issues between the Okporo and Ikomoro in the Okporo community.
   
Bernard and Ezekiel Nwako noted that Okporo people of Ooring extraction and Umezekoa of ezza extraction have been co existing peacefully with the people of Umezekoa of ezza extraction and alleged denial of Okomoro people of participating in drafting of community constitution, right to own shop in the market and treating the Okomoro as inferior to there ezza counterpart and above all refused to recognize the okomoro as independent unit even when they have cultural and ancestral differences.
     
They therefore pleaded with the state government that the issue of marginalization of the Okporo people by the Umezekoa community, responding the traditional ruler of the Okpmoro community HRH EZE VINCENT NWEKE said that non recognition of the people of Okpmoro as been a subject of litigation. He however noted that the interference in the affairs of the community is as a result of non accountability and alleged sales of common wealth of the okomoro people by some groups, he maintained that he gave slot for the Okpomoro people in the town union executive and EZE cabinet of the community. 

In a vote of thanks Mr John Onwe of Okporo community emphasizes on the need for peaceful co- existence between the Okpomoro and Umezoaka community and thank the State Government for weighing into the dispute and commended the traditional ruler of the community for his fatherly role displayed on handling reported issues in Okpomoro community.
