Supreme Court Judge Buries Mother In Ebonyi

The remains of Late Madam Mary Aje Ogbuinya, Mother of Hon Justice Obande Ogbuinya have be laid to rest amidst tributes

Governor Francis Ogbonna   Nwifuru of Ebonyi State  described Late Ezinne Aje Mary, Mother of Justice of the Supreme Court, Obande Ogbuinya, as a woman of inestimable values.

The Governor said her death  is devastating and has created a deep scar in the hearts of those she was endeared.

"Death is a shadow all of us are carrying which does not announce its presence.  It  is a cessation of life and existence and all of us here are aware one day, we will die".

The Governor mourned the matriarch of the Ogbuinya dynasty in Ngbo, Ohaukwu Local Government Area on Saturday during the funeral service  at the Ijinike High School, Umuogudu Akpu Ngbo.

While celebrating a life of fulfillment of purpose, philanthropy, excellence in social works and industry, Governor Nwifuru added that her sojourn on earth was greeted with great success, given the rise of her son, Justice Ogbuinya to the peak of his career as a learned jurist of the country's apex court.

The Methodist Archbishop of Abakaliki,  Chikwendu Igwe   urged the  family members and mourners to note the reality of death and deliberately pursue eternity by eschewing evil and living a holy and righteous life.

The Governor was joined to the funeral service by his counterpart,  Professor Charles Chukwuma Soludo of Anambra State among others
