Ebonyi Got Talent has honoured a business Tycoon, Dr Okorie Ikechukwu Justus Ficmc with a Award of Excellence during the 2023 edition of Ebonyi Got Talent show held on 24th November, 2023 at the famous event center in Abakaliki metropolis, Citihub which was in attendence, Musicians and Nollywood actors like Chinwetalu Agu, Zubby Michael among others.
Dr Okorie Ikechukwu Justus, a certified Microsoft Professional and renowned philanthropist was given this honour by Ebonyi Got Talent as mark of appreciation for his philanthropist gesture, human capital development and contributions to the growth of the society.
The business Tycoon who hail from Ishiagu, Ivo Local Government Area of Ebonyi State holds BSc in Physics (Majors in Electronics), MSc in Public Administration and running other academic program at University of Liverpool (Project Management; Majoring in Construction & Integrated Infrastructure), Harvard University, USA (Contract Law & Management), etc. He has bagged International Certificates from several institutions including, PROMETRICS, USA. In 2022, the ISCG UNIVERSITY conferred a PhD in Political science.
He has delivered
papers on vexed issues and has many published thoughts in National dailies and internet. He has also published a book, released in 2006.
Professionally, he served with the Premier Internet Service Provider in
West Africa, Linkserve Limited (now Solely Servicing the World Bank in Africa) in year 2000 and was retained and speedily promoted to Head, Corporate Support Services, Port Harcourt before he joined the Chipa Group, Abuja in 2003 till he Founded ELDYKE GROUP in 2012. At Chipa Group, he started as Chief Technical
Officer/Project Coordinator and was quickly seconded to Universal Malting
Company Limited, a Multinational Malting Company where he served as Executive Director at a tender Age of 30. He sat in same Board with the
MD, Nigeria Breweries Plc, the MD, Orange Drugs Limited etc and oversaw the construction and completion of the Multi-Billion record breaker and first of its kind in Africa, the 60,000
ton-Capacity Sorghun Malting Plant, OgborHill Aba in 2004 -2008 in collaboration with Nigeria Breweries/ Heineken, Buhler
GMBH of Germany and other heavy European Giants. By 2008, Mazi (Dr)
Okorie Ikechukwu Justus returned to Chipa Group as the Group Managing
Director. He founded many companies and executed many Private and Government projects of repute in the course of time and eventually became the President/Chief Executive of Eldyke Group with several subsidiary companies involved in Construction, Engineering procurement s ICT Consultanct and Petroleum Product Merchandise. Eldyke Group has achieved first RATE in the LPG business in Nigeria and expending into two (2) other African countries at the present and an office in the USA.
As a Student who featured actively in the School politics, championing the course of the Students, especially the Ohaneze Group in UNIPORT. He carved a niche for himself in the Students community and offered scholarship to many and recorded quantum milestone which made the Students to conferred him: the Ochendo nke izizi. He has several titles conferred on him by traditional stools and kingdoms in Lafia, Nasarawa state, where he was turbanned in 2010, FCT and Abia State.
He was honoured by The International Society of Poets, USA in 2001 as a
Distinguished Poet in recognition of his written works of art. He is also a Fellow of Institute of Chartered of Mediators and Conciliators (FICMC, 2017) as an Alternative Dispute Resolution Expert. He has been a member, Institute of Director (IoD) since 2003. He is Patron/Adviser to innumerable Association and clubs.
