Kidney Patient Recieves 15M Financial Help From Gov Nwifuru

Ebonyi state Governor, Chief Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru this Monday, presented a cheque of 15million to a kidney patient, Mr Ifeanyi Israel Ugo, to undergo kidney transplant. 

According to a statement sent to Ebonyi Times News by the special Assistant to the Governor on documentation, Dr Boniface Nwankwo, revealed that the Governor responded to distress call from the family of the patient and swiftly moved to save life.

"In continuation of his humanitarian and welfare disposition to governance which is also in line with his People's Charter of Needs manifesto, His Excellency, Right Honourable Builder Francis Nwifuru, GGCEHF earlier today, Monday September 25, 2023 presented a cheque of 15 million naira to a kidney Patient, Mr. Ifeanyi Israel Ugo to undertake transplant of his ailing kidney.

"Presenting the cheque to the patient and his family members, Governor Nwifuru represented by the Chief of Staff, Professor Emmanuel Echiegu, flanked by the Principal Secretary to the Governor, Chief Mathias Adum said he responded swiftly to the distress call in order to save the life of the patient.

"He prayed God to grant the patient successful operation and quick recovery thereafter.

"The patient, Mr. Ifeanyi Israel Ugo thanked the Governor for coming to his rescue and prayed God to continue blessing him.

"The kidney Patient, Mr Ifeanyi Israel Ugo hails from Enyim Umuoghara in Ezza North Local Government Area of the State".
