Police, NSCDC Ceals Inter-Agency Synergy Deal In Anambra

The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps has received assurances of enhanced synergy from the Nigeria Police Force  towards clamping down on criminal elements within the State.

This reassurance was given today, Thursday 13th ,  July 2023 by the new  Commissioner of Police, Anambra State, CP Aderemi Adeoye when he paid a courtesy visit on the  State Commandant of NSCDC, Mr. Edwin Osuala at the State Command Headquarters Awka.

Speaking, CP Aderemi Adeoye  stated that his visit was to familiarize with the State Commandant , pledge his continuous support and collaboration with the  NSCDC  in the fight against crime and criminality in the state. 
" My purpose of coming is to emphasize to all and sundry especially the public that we are partners in progress, and that being partners, criminals cannot take advantage of us. The synergy we are going to forge will be strong and adequate enough to deal  criminals. We will work assiduously to develop a robust relationship to deal with security challenges confronting us"he said. 

Responding, the State Commandant, Edwin Osuala  welcomed the new CP to the state and wished him well  in his new assignment. 
Osuala  described the cooperation among security agencies in the state as outstanding, stating his desire to working with the CP and other sister security agencies to stem criminal activities in the state. 

He said, On my arrival to Anambra , I met a working synergy among all the security agencies. We shall continue to work in synergy to stem the tide of insecurity in the state . We will achieve more result when we work together and share Intelligence  ”
The State Commandant appealed to the CP to always acknowledge the contributions of other agencies  in  any successful operations by the State Joint Task Force as a mark of respect .  

The CP  was accompanied on the visit by the some of his management team.
