Ikwo Council Boss Led Other Leaders In Paying Last Respect To Late Elder Fred Udeogu

The body of late Elder Fredrick Ekoyo Udeogu was on Friday, committed to mother earth in his country home inyimegu, in Ikwo Local Government Area of the state, amidst glowing tribute.

The Executive Chairman of Ikwo, Hon. Barr Sunday Nwankwo led other personalities to pay the last respect to the departed leader.

Barr Sunday Nwankwo, while speaking, described Elder Udogu as a man of many parts, who came, saw and impacted; and urged the family to mourn hopefully, while also finding solace from the fervent and patriotic roles which the late Leader played while alive.

“Today, we are gathered to pay a meritorious last respect to an ideal icon. Enyinwegu, you lived your name to its highest tone; as an iconic hero, you came, you saw, and you impacted. As we join his family to bid him farewell today, we enjoin them to draw solace from his many legacies. Fare thee well the iconic Statesman, fare thee well Elder Fred, Fare thee well Enyinwegu!”
Other notable leaders and personalities that joined the  Council Chairman in paying last respect to the departed leader were Chief Martin Nwanchor Elechi, former Governor of Ebonyi State, Senator Obinna Ogba, Hon. Edwin Nwonu, Hon.Chinedu Ogah, Amb. Franklin Ogbuewu, Chief Clement Nweke, Hon. Moses Odunwa, Arch. Christian Asaga Nwali among others.
