The members of the Inter-Party Advisory Council (IPAC), Ebonyi State have made its Stand known regarding the governship position in Ebonyi State.

In a communique reached at the end of its meeting on Tuesday, 14th March 2023, which was endorsed by the State Exco, onbehalf of IPAC, Ebonyi state, resolved among other things, "That the rotation formula  already jointly adopted by Ebonyi key stakeholders, including, the Ebonyi State Founding Fathers, Ebonyi Elders Forum, Traditional Rulers Council, the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Ebonyi state chapter, among others, which recommends power rotation every eight (8) years from Ebonyi North to Central and South should be retained in that sequence.

"That if the already existing power rotation agreement in the state is allowed to be truncated or altered, it could lead to chaotic power tussles in the state every eight (8) years and increase suspision, strife, enemity and  hate among the various zones and clans of Ebonyi state with the possibility of increasing the rate of communal clashes and general insecurity of lives and properties in the state.

"In view of the above, the Inter-Party Advisory Council (IPAC), Ebonyi State hereby endorses and adopts the Ebonyi North leading Gubernatorial candidate, Chief Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru of the APC for the 2023 Governorship election in Ebonyi state and urges all Ebonyians to support and vote for him in the best interest of the state.
