Ahead of Saturdays gubernatorial and State House of Assembly elections in Ebonyi State, the Coordinator, Divine mandate student campaign council, (DMSCC), Engr Comr Okoro Joshua Offor (Majesty) has commended Ebonyi State students for their efforts and support for the gubernatorial candidate of APC in the state during the campaign period and urged them translate their support to vote in the Saturdays elections.
This was contained in a message to the students and made available to Ebonyi Times Newspaper.
His statement reads in part;
"Dear Ebonyi State Students, let me once again appreciate you for your unflinching support thus far. You worked with us during the LG to LG Rally. You have been very supportive to this project. You have demonstrated capacity and shown penchant in ensuring that Rt Hon Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru become the 4th Governor of Ebonyi State. Your efforts are noted and won't be taken for granted. The manifesto of Rt Hon Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru termed "The People's Charters of Needs" captured what he intends to do for the Students Community and Education. Having been helping the Students as the Speaker of Ebonyi State House of Assembly, I have confidence that he will do more and more as the Governor. He knows the daunting challenges facing the Students and will address them squarely when he assume office.
"Fellow Comrades, remember that 18th March, 2023 is the Gubernatorial and House of Assembly Election. A day to make yet another history in Ebonyi State. A day to birth the 2nd quarter of Divine Mandate administration in Ebonyi State.
"Remember that you have thrown your weight and full support behind Rt Hon Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru, APC Gubernatorial Candidate in the State.
"Remember that your belief is that, equity, Justice and fairness is the only instrument for peaceful coexistence, egalitarianism, grassroot development and antidote for conviviality among the brotherhood in our dear State.
"Remember that after the creation of Ebonyi State, Ebonyi North was first to rule for 8yrs, Central did 8yrs and South did same. Now, it's expected that it start afresh from where it started which is Ebonyi North Senatorial Zone. And in Ebonyi North, Rt Hon Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru is the hair to the throne.
"Remember that you had interactive session with Rt Hon Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru wherein you asked him questions and he responded positively. Remember that he explained vividly what he intends to do for the Students and in Education sector if elected.
"Remember that you as well endorsed him as your sole Gubernatorial Candidate having accessed his track records, disposition, manifesto, pedigree, experience, antecedents and support for the Students.
"Remember that our party, APC parades the best House of Assembly Candidates in the State who are eminently qualified with proven leadership qualities.
"Now, 18th March, 2023 is the day for you to demonstrate your support and endorsement of Rt Hon Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru in your respective polling units. Canvass vote for Rt Hon Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru. Convince your friends and family to Vote him in. Vote APC from top to bottom. The voting pattern on Saturday is different from what happened during the Presidential election.
