I, Engr (Comr) Okoro Joshua Offor (Majesty), Coordinator, Divine Mandate Students Campaign Council (Directorate of Youth) on behalf of the Divine Mandate Students and indeed Ebonyi State Students at large, joyfully congratulates our leaders, His Excellency Rt Hon Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru, Governor Elect, Ebonyi State on your overwhelming victory in the just concluded Guber/House of Assembly Election.
Your sounding victory is not surprising to me because I know from the beginning that Ebonyians will give you massive Vote to maintain the tripartite equity pact which has been the mainstream of Ebonyi State politics since its creation.
Mr Speaker, your victory is predicated on your antecedents, experience, developmental strides of the APC led Government in the State, your leadership ingenuity, sagacity and manifesto which is the beat others and hitherto, the penchant for Ebonyians to support the Divine Mandate continuity in the State.
Despite the skirmishes, Blackmail, propaganda, venoms and inciting comments by naysayers and opposition elements just to discredit you, dent your image, reputation and present you as a unpopular Candidate, God disappointed them and crowned you victory through ballot.
My leader, with your towering experience as the Speaker of the House of Assembly for the 8years, I'm confident that you will lead Ebonyi with prudence, fear of God and consolidate on the achievements of Engr Dave Nweze Umahi led Government.
In the political trajectory of our dear State, this remains one of the free, fair and credible poll and I commend the Independent National Electoral Commission INEC for their conduct.
This victory is anchored on the platform of our campaign mantra which is "DIVINE MANDATE". The support demonstrated in the election is eloquent testimony that Ebonyi is totally APC State and affirmation that connecting us to the centre by our dear pragmatic leader, His Excellency Engr Dave Nweze Umahi GCNS was never a mistake but a pathway to liberate Ebonyi State and attract federal projects and programs to the State.
Ebonyians and indeed our Students demonstrated their support and endorsement of your Candidacy in the poll which contributed greatly to your sounding victory.
While I congratulate you on this feat, I have the belief that you will prioritize the interest of the Students of Ebonyi State like you promised them.
In the same vein, I convey my congratulations to all the House of Assembly Members Elect and their Constituents for their victory in the poll.
