Ebonyi LP Guber Candidate Lauds Egwu's Consistency In Providing Succuor To Indigent Widows

The Governorship candidate of Labour Party Dr Edward Nkwegu has commended the Founder of Widows Care Foundation and wife of the first Civilian Governor of Ebonyi state, Mrs Eunice Ukamaka Egwu, for providing succour to indigent widows in the state since 1999.

 He stated this during a Christmas and New Year party Mrs Egwu  organized for  over two hundred indigent Widows in Ebonyi state at Hope  High British International School Abakaliki.

Dr Nkwegu who was a member of the Widow care Foundation thanked senator Egwu and his wife for sustaining the Programmes of the Foundation and urged them not to relent.
He also enjoined the people of Ebonyi state to canvass for the victory all the Candidates of Labour Party during election.

Earlier, Mrs  Egwu noted that the gesture was to give the widows  in Ebonyi state a sense of belonging.
At the event, Mrs Eunice Ukamaka Egwu distributed bags of rice, condiments , wrappers , buckets and cash gift to the widows.

The beneficiaries were selected from 13 Local government areas of Ebonyi state.
