Ahead of the 2023 general elections, the Chairman of All Progressives Congress APC in Ebonyi State, Chief Stanley Okoro Emegha has reinstated his absolute resolve to led the party to victory.
Chief Emegha made this known during a two day event organised to mark the 2022 Ekoli Edda Day, Aba branch in Abia State.
In the words of Chief Emegha:
" I am convinced beyond any reasonable doubt that APC Ebonyi State will clinch all the elective positions in the forthcoming general elections. The party through the available scorecard among other influence of our Governor, chief David Mweze Umahi will garner all the votes before 12noon on the days of elections".
"Just to let you know, that if you have not visited the state in the past few years, you will definitely be lost when you enter this time around probably by December. His Excellency, the Governor has transformed Ebonyi beyond the imagination of many"
"The state is rated as the best in: prudent management of resources, building of critical infrastructures, human capital development, security engagement etc. Both citizens resident in the state and those in diaspora are proud of the APC led Government in Ebonyi state. The jinx of backwardness had since been broken by our hardworking Governor".
"APC has credible and widely acceptable candidates hence we are receiving on daily basis defectors including candidates of other political parties into our fold" My party is on ground and we are ready to do more if given your mandates".
"However, since we are celebrating the Ekoli Edda Day, let me inform you that the APC administration under Governor Umahi has rapidly transformef the landscape of Edda and her people. The Ugwu Iyere bridge in Edda is one of the magical wonders of His Excellency in the state and Nigeria as a whole. Many of our illustrious sons and daughters are what they are today courtesy of the Governor"
"I strongly believe that we need to reciprocate the gesture by voting him as the Senator representing Ebonyi South, chief Francis Nwifuru as the Governor and all other candidates of our great party in the 2023 polls. By so doing, we will be contributing to a Ebonyi State".
"Again let me also appreciate you for enrolling massively during PVC registration. With our PVC our voices must be heard during the polls".
"I wish to urge you to continue to be peaceful and your brother's keeper. We are one indivisible family. The Governor has given an order to extend the multimillion naira empowerment programme of his administration to indigenes outside the state and you are inclusive."
The Ebonyi APC Chairman, Chief Stanley Okoro Emegha pledged to be interfacing with them periodically for the common good of all.
