The Speaker of Ebonyi state House of Assembly and APC Gubernatorial Candidate in the, Rt Hon Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru has Commended the a Youth group in Ikwo for a Solidarity Visit, promising to justify the gesture if he emerges Governor.
Nwifuru said, "My in-laws came visiting today. As you’d expect, it was a special one.
"Thank you so much, my dearest Ward and Local Government Executives of FON Youth Movement, Ikwo Local Government Area, for your love and endless support.
"The 2023 Governorship project is your project. I am married to your sister and she has been a massive blessing to my family. My brother too is married from Ikwo, so both of our wives are doing marvelously very well for us. Huge blessings to us.
"We’ll embark on massive Human Capital Development. But in terms of roads, there are still infrastructural deficits in Ikwo. From Noyo to Ezeophia, to Nwandugo, Amegu down to Item, Igbudu to Inyimegu, there are no good roads. So we have lots of responsibilities. We’ll get them done.
"You’re of me and I believe in you. If we work together and deliver, I won’t be needing anyone to recommend any of you to me, because I’ll engage you all directly. I am a youth like you. As your Governor, I’ll work for you, I’ll work with you and I’ll engage you all one by one".
