The Special Security Consultant (SSC) to Ebonyi State Government, Chief Stanley Okoro Emegha, has charged the leadership of Motorcycle rider's Union in the state to ensure peace among its members.
Emegha stated this over the weekend while interacting with them in his office, old Government House, Abakaliki, during a visit.
He urged them to fish out the bad among them, who hides in the name of Okada riding to commit crime in the state, stressing that no criminal act will go unpunished in the state.
The Special Security Consultant who was represented by the HoD, border peace of the ministry of internal security, Mr Igwurube Ifeanyichukwu Martin, Commended them for the relative peace existing in Union and task then to sustain it
Speaking during the visit, the State chairman of the Union, Comrade Ekuma Nicholas thanked the special security Consultant for providing a good platform for security of life and property to thrive in the state, assuring him that the existing peace in the union will be sustained.
Ekuma said that the essence of the visit was to thank him for the great job he is doing in the state and to inform him of the readiness of the Union to conduct election haven been under the caretaker leadership for some time now. The Union Chairman said that every is in place and ready for the election as member are now in one page.
