The Chairman of the All Progressives Congress APC, Ebonyi state, Chief Stanley Okoro Emegha have called for unity, love, tolerance and deeper sobber reflection as Christians all over the world  commemorate the deaths and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

In his Easter message to Ebonyi people, the APC state Chairman said;
"It is with joy flowing like a river that I, the Ebonyi State Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Chief Stanley Okoro Emegha write to warmly felicitate with all my party's faithful and the entire Ebonyians on the auspicious occasion of this years Easter celebration.

"As we mark the holy season of Easter which reminds Christians all over the globe, the fulfillment of the prophecies of the Old Testament and the revelation of God's salvific plan for all of humankind, the people of Ebonyi State should eschew sin and it's tendencies.

"Godly way of life will no doubt continue to provide a convivial and vivacious atmosphere for His Excellency the Governor, Chief David Nweze Umahi to sustain the pride of Ebonyi state as the Tourist Center of Nigeria just like the Vice President Professor Yemi Osibanjo affirmed during his visit on the 8th Day of this month.

"In closing our ranks as a people with common heritage and destiny, may I also as the Special Security Consultant(SCC) to Ebonyi state Government assure you of adequate protection of lives and property before, during and after the Easter festivity.

"Consequently, the Ebubeagu Security Outfit in conjunction with other security agencies are working hands in gloves to provide watertight security for the inhabitants and visitors of the State. The security personnel have been fully deployed to all the flash points and other areas to make sure that there will be no security breach of any kind.

"I therefore, wish to charge the people of the state to continue to be law abiding as they  go about their normal routines and  report any suspicious movement lurking around their vicinities for prompt intervention by the gallantry officers and men of the security.

"Let's celebrate the festivity in the love of Christ by being our brothers keeper".
