Ebonyi State Special Security Consultant Inspects New Correctional Facility In Abakaki

The Special Security Consultant to Ebonyi State Government, Chief Stanley Okoro Emegha on Thursday inspected the progress of work at the new correctional service facility under construction by Ebonyi State Government.  

The multi million naira project was undertaken by Ebonyi State Government under Governor David Umahi's administration, in his avowed determination to give the state sense of belonging and make it the best among the Committee of States in the federation in all facets.
Briefing journalist after the inspection, the special security Consultant expressed satisfaction with the level of work ongoing at the site, stating that the facility will be  the best in the country when completed.

He said, "this place is far modernized and stronger than kuje prison. This is the covenant our Governor has with God. The Governor is doing all these to make sure that when other states are being counted in the country, Ebonyi State must be part of it. It is all about taking the state out of religation", he concluded.
The correctional facility is a modernized facility with the 21st Century state of the art facilities and has male and female cell in an encouraging distance, the administrative block and staff quarters among other facilities. 

According to the special security Consultant, the Governor is committed to completing the project on or before August, 2022.
