Ex-FB member, DC Coordinator happy with Gov. Umahi over APC Ward Congress in Ebonyi



*Recommend Governor Umahi for Presidency in 2023

The former member Federal Board of Directors, Sokoto Rima River Basin Development, Hon James Nwite and the Coordinator Mbeke Development Centre, Hon Michael Njoku have jointly congratulated the Governor of Ebonyi State for using his office to ensure peaceful conduct of the ward congress of their party, APC in the state.



The duo also recommended Governor Umahi for Presidency come 2023, urging all and sundry to support him in considering his achievements in the state while interacting with NATIONAL PANEL on Friday in Abakaliki.

Hon. Nwite who appreciated the governor described Ebonyi as the most peaceful state during the congress, attributing the cause to the leadership ingenuity of Governor David Nweze Umahi. 



He called Ebonyians, especially those in the opposition parties to close rank by supporting Umahi for Presidency in 2023 in considering his evident leadership and developmental strides in their state.



Nwite also commended the governor for wisely flanked himself with worthwhile Ebonyi citizens, applauding the impact of the State Commissioner for Capital City and Urban Development, Barr. Onyekachi Nwebonyi for his contribution to ensure a true democracy in Ebonyi council area particularly Mbeke Development Centre, where his ward, Ndiegu is located.



In his words, the Coordinator of Mbeke Development Centre, Hon Michael Njoku equally described Ebonyi as the luckiest state in Nigeria following the leadership of Governor David Umahi since his assumption of office.

Njoku noted that the governor has set standard for other leaders across the nation to emulate and described this as the secret behind why Ebonyi State emerged most peaceful state during the APC Ward Congress.



He expressed joy over the peaceful atmosphere that was experienced in his Ward, Ndiegu, his DC, Mbeke and other parts of the state during the congress.


The Coordinator equally commended the stakeholders of his DC ranging from the Commissioner for Capital City and Urban Development, Barr Onyekachi Nwebonyi, the former Minister, Chief Goddy Ogbaga, the immediate past Head of Service in the state, Chief Chamberlain Nwele, ex-Federal Board Member, Hon James Nwite and numerous others for their positive contributions.



He said the ward congress has proved that 99 per cent of  Mbeke people are supporting APC and maintained that the state governor has made a right choice by defecting to APC and assured 2023 general election is a done deal.
