The Executive Chairman of Ebonyi Local Government Areas of Ebonyi State, Chief Mrs Chinyere Nwogbaga has been reportedly cleared the hospital bill of the mother of triplet, at Mile Hospital, Abakaliki.

NATIONAL PANEL learnt that the Chairman on hearing the news yesterday afternoon reached out to Mrs Philomina Nkechi Nwori, a native of Ekebeligwe Ishieke in Ebonyi Local Government Area who delivered triplet at the hospital and paid off their hospital bill.

NATIONAL PANEL earlier reported that the hospital bills were at tune of N200,000 due to some other accumulated expenses done for the sake of the new babies and their mother.

But Nwogbaga after paying off the bill,  handed to the triplet and their mother, a patry fund enrolled in large envelope to help the family in purchase of needed drugs and other maintainance items needed for their well-being.

The LGA Chairman thus, expressed happiness over the safe delivery of the triplet, and described the babies as the products of Ebonyi Council Area and Ekebeligwe Ishieke Community in particular.

Receiving the kind gestures from the Chairman, the mother of the triplet, Mrs Philomina Nkechi Nwori, expressed happiness and described Mrs Chinyere Nwogbaga as a Godsent in considering her prompt intervention especially 'when it seems all hope was lost.'

Mrs Nwori further thanked the Chairman and prayed God to bless and replenish her pocket in multiple folds.

The father of the triplet, Mr Slyvanus Nwori on phone call with NATIONAL PANEL on Saturday morning confirmed the gesture from the LG Chairman, Mrs Nwogbaga and extolled her benevolent spirit highly.

Mr Nwori described Mrs Nwogbaga as an exemplary leader, who believes in liberation of people, saying his family can never forget the gesture in hurry and prayed for her exaltation in leadership.
