*Calls for full implementation of resolutions

Members of Online Media Practitioners Association of Nigeria (OMPAN), Ebonyi State Chapter, have extended their hearts of gratitude to Governor David Nweze Umahi for the just concluded town hall meeting  with all the various clans in the state.

This was contained in a communiqué issued and endorsed by the Chairman, Mr. Celestine Okeh and Secretary, Mr. Andy Nwogha after OMPAN's General Meeting on Friday in Abakalki.

The communiqué noted that such open policy of the governor would help to end the nefarious activities of hoodlums in the state.

NATIONAL PANEL recalls that Governor Umahi recently hosted various clans in the state at Ecumenical Centre, Abakaliki, to chant a way forward to curtail incessant attacks and sustain the overall development of Ebonyi state.

OMPAN noted that Ebonyi has been the most peaceful state in the entire South East before the face off orchestrated by criminal activities of bandits and hoodlums.

The event which in effort to further cement the peace move was wrapped up with one week prayer and fasting summit seeking the face of God.

To this end, the association appreciated the turnout of stakeholders from their respective communities to make contributions for the betterment of the society.

The association, however, appealed to the state governor to implement the resolutions reached during the exercise as to sustain the trust already emboldened by Ebonyi people on his visionary leadership since assumed office.
