Former Miss Chidera Geraldine Nkwegu, daughter of the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, EDON Group of Companies, Architect Edward Nkwegu has tied nuptial knot with her hearthrob, Emmanuel Chima Ihebunandu according to the doctrine of the Roman Catholic Church.

The colourful double-barreled occasion which comprised of traditional and white wedding took place at Regina Pacis Villa, Okpoduma, Izzi Local Government Area of the State on Saturday.

In a Church Service, a Catholic Cleric, Reverend Father Philip Chidebelu enjoined the couple to hold onto God for guidance and solution to all family challenges to enjoy comprehensive marital bliss.

The Parents of the Bride Architect and Mrs Edward Nkwegu congratulated their children on the success of their wedding ceremonies and wished well in their union.

"I am immensely proud of both of you that through self discipline, you became Pharmacists, a noble profession, singleness of purpose of the married couple through unconditional love, respect and self discipline are the essentials for a successful marital life no matter what may be one's aim. Having exchanged the marital consent and vows before God, your families and the entire body of Christ, keep the sanctity of of your marriage sacrosanct, train your children with love and fear of God"

Chairman of the Occasion, Chief Gbazuagu Nweke Gbazuagu advised the bride and groom to love and cherish each other as well as avoid third party in their affairs.

The Governor of Ebonyi State, Engineer David Nweze Umahi represented by the Speaker of Ebonyi State House of Assembly, Right Honourable Francis Nwifuru prayed God to bless the new home with all the goodies of a contemporary household.

"My Prayer for the couple is for God to bless them with the fruit of the womb and riches. I also pray that God gives them the love and understanding to sustain this relationship that it may prosper to eternity"
