The funeral arrangements to mark the burial of the deceased Justice of the Supreme Court, His Lordship Hon. Justice Sylvester Nwali Ngwuta have been postponed indefinitely.
Ebonyi Commissioner for Information and State Orientation, Barr Orji Uche Orji announced this on Tuesday.
He informed the general public that the postponement of the burial was due to security reasons in Ebonyi, the home state of Late Justice Ngwuta and other parts of the country.
The funeral arrangements were scheduled between the 28th to 30th April, 2021 to mark late Justice Ngwuta's burial at Abakaliki and Ukawu - his country home but have been postponed indefinitely.
Orji said the new date shall be announced later.
He said the state government, the deceased family and the burial planning committee regretted inconveniences this postponement might have caused people.
