Students of the Ebonyi State Vocational College, EBVOC, have manufactured and supplied the first set of hospital beds, and expressed readiness to deliver more standard products to their customers.
The beds specially designed by the college for the hospitalized patients and other people who may need them for health care are one of the products already manufactured and Isupplied to the customers who testified their good standard.
These beds have special features both for the comfort and well-being of the patient and for the convenience of health care workers.
Common features include adjustable height for the entire bed, the head, the feet, side rails and others were intact.
According to the Director General of Ebonyi State Vocational College who is also the Special Assistant to the Governor on Vocational Education, Princess Adaeze Nwaji, the first set of the hospital beds were manufactured by the Department of Foundry of the College, within one week of the customer's request, and they are ready for delivery.
Lady Nwaji affirmed that the College has trained great innovators who are committed to exploring opportunities and creating desired changes in the society.
She further appreciated Ebonyi State Governor, Engr. David Nweze Umahi for his unalloyed support and efforts towards the advancement of the College.
The EBVOC DG assured their customers of standard products in the school, and asked for a continuous patronage.
"Patronise Ebonyi State Vocational College today for the quality you deserve. They are specialties in production of paints, hospital bed, medical medical scrubs, face-mask and shield, fashion, electric tricycles ete.
Let's stop importing what we can be produced here," she said.
