The Ebonyi State Chairman of All Progressives Congress, APC, Pastor Eze Nwachukwu Eze has congratulated the State Governor, Engineer David Umahi of People's Democratic Party PDP for defecting to APC.
Mr Nwachukwu stated this while clarifying Journalists on the rumours that the state Governor has joined APC.
He said Umahi has taken the best decision by defecting to APC
He called on other Southeast Governors to copy from Umahi especially at this moment when Igbos are clamouring for 2023 Presidency to be zoned to the region.
"We have supported other regions in producing President of Nigeria in previous years, it is now the time for Igbos to produce and the best thing to do is for Igbos to join the national ruling party so that the dream of the region will be actualized". He said.
The Chairman said APC Government has transformed the lives of Nigeria in all ramifications.
"Despite challenges, Nigeria
President, Mohammadu Buhari has done well in Education, Health, Agriculture, transportation, Human empowerment among others". He added.
He therefore, urged people of the State to support President Mohammadu Buhari's administration to achieve all his set goals.
