Panic as violent protests persist in Ebonyi


 




 


A serious panic has taken over the Ebonyi State Capital, Abakaliki following the violent protests on ground.
 
NATIONAL PANEL learnt that another violent demonstration has erupted in the state leading to destruction of properties and lost of lives being feared to have taken place.





This violent protest has included endless release of  gunshots to the cloud scaring the residents with no one knowing the direction it is coming from.

But social media have been awashed with posts stating  that the Central Police Station, CPS, at Obegu Azuiyiokwu in Izzi Unuphu community in Abakaliki Council Area has been set ablaze by the unknown hoodlums.

We learnt that there have been a combative exchange of power with security operatives and the suspected hoodlums in the state.
