Abdulrazaq seeks FG intervention on Kwara floods

 






Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq of Kwara State today visited President Muhammadu Buhari at the Presidential Villa in Abuja, and requested for the Federal assistance to elevate the pains of his people in the state who fell victims of this year’s flood disaster.





 Abdulrazaq in his interaction with newsmen, said, the recent floods in his state have caused financial losses to the tune of 5 to 10 billion naira, 15,000 people displaced alongside thousands of hectares of land.

The governor thus, said, President Muhammad Buhari has promised to help the state alongside NEMA that assured intervention to ameliorate the situation in a shorter time not up to six months.
