The women made the endorsement on Saturday, October 17, 2026, during a solidarity meeting and political tour held at the APC Party Office, Ngbo Court Area, Ohaukwu LGA.

The meeting attracted women leaders, political stakeholders, former and serving female public officeholders, coordinators of development centres, support groups and representatives of various women associations across the local government.
The event was chaired by the Chairman of the APC Women Campaign Council in Ohaukwu LGA, Associate Professor Chinyere Elom, who urged the women to remain united, committed and actively involved in the party's mobilisation efforts.

Prof. Elom called on the women to support APC candidates at all levels of government, from the presidency to the State House of Assembly, stressing the need for effective grassroots engagement and sustained participation in the party's political activities.
