The member representing Ikwo/Ezza South Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Chinedu Ogah, has commended Ebonyi State Governor, Francis Nwifuru, for commencing road construction projects across his constituency.

Ogah said the governor’s commitment to fulfilling his promises had strengthened the confidence of the people in his administration, assuring that the people of Ikwo would reciprocate by giving the All Progressives Congress (APC) massive votes in the 2027 general election.

The lawmaker, who expressed satisfaction with the ongoing projects, listed some of the roads under construction as Igbudu, Abina, Orogna, Item Amegu and Ochenyim roads, noting that work was progressing steadily on the projects.

He said the commencement of the road projects demonstrated Governor Nwifuru’s commitment to rural development and had silenced critics who questioned the performance of his administration.

Ogah urged those criticising the governor to visit rural communities where many of the projects were being executed to verify the level of work before making further comments. He maintained that the ongoing construction projects were evidence of the administration’s efforts to improve infrastructure and the living conditions of rural dwellers.

The lawmaker also called on eligible constituents who had yet to obtain their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) to do so, stressing the importance of participating in the electoral process to demonstrate their support for the governor and the APC during the 2027 general election. He reaffirmed the commitment of the people of Ikwo to remain loyal to the Nwifuru administration.

“Thank you, Your Excellency, Governor Francis Nwifuru, for keeping the promise you made to our people. We are happy with the commencement of these road projects, and the people of Ikwo will reciprocate your gesture with loyalty and massive votes for the APC in 2027,” Ogah said.
