On Sunday, September 6, 2026, Senator Nwebonyi visited Ndieze Inyimegu Autonomous Community in Izzi Local Government Area of Ebonyi State for an on-the-spot assessment of the deplorable condition of roads and public school facilities in the community.
During the inspection, the Senator personally assessed the challenges confronting residents, particularly the poor state of rural roads, which have continued to hamper movement, economic activities and access to essential services.
Following his assessment, Senator Nwebonyi immediately approved the renovation of three classroom blocks at Community Primary School, Ndinwola, as part of his intervention in the education sector.
He also approved the construction of rural access roads linking Mbeke Ndieze, Agukpobeoku Ndieze, Nwodah Ndieze, Amaguenyim Ndieze and Ndinwola villages within the autonomous community.
The road interventions are expected to improve connectivity among the communities, facilitate the movement of agricultural produce and people, and open up the rural areas for greater economic activities and development.
For Senator Nwebonyi, the construction of rural roads is not merely about concrete, earthworks or physical infrastructure. It is also about connecting people, communities and opportunities while breaking down the barriers created by poor road networks.
