Chief Sunday Inyima, the Ebonyi State Commissioner for Project Monitoring and Evaluation has rejected the stance of the National leader of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) and Governor of Anambra State,Prof. Chukwuma Soludo, who in an endorsement rally of Tinubu in Abakaliki said that 'Progressives are one', Inyima stressed that progressives are not one in Ohaukwu local government area.
Inyima made the striking revelation while delivering his goodwill message at the Local Government Headquarters during the Local government campaign mega rally in the area.
He informed that the people have decided to throw their supports behind all the candidates of the APC raging from the state governor, Francis Nwifuru,Senator Onyekachi Nwebonyi, Reps Eze Nwachukwu Eze and all the candidates of the House of Assembly Members from the LGA.
Inyima called on the APC to supporters to be vigilant anytime they have cause to move together with those shouting 'progressives are one' noting such notion is simply meant only to sell their candidates to the Public.
He Went further to inform the gathering that Ohaukwu people have their peculiar formula of winning elections and they were not ready to reveal it to anyone until the day of the election.
He emphasized the need for party faithful to go to the hinterland and preach the good works of the present administration in the Council area adding that at the course of their ward to ward campaign they were able to talk to those who believed the opposition parties were coming to save them.
"There are other political parties that have letter 'P' in their parties and they can't say that progressives are one in their various states. It is only in Ohaukwu and some few LGAs you can hear such a thing"
"This people called APGA, carry out their operations at night, you can hardly see them during the day campaigning because they know Ohaukwu is for the APC and nothing more"
"So, my message to the people of Ohaukwu is that we don't have two political parties in the area. No right thinking individual thinks of belonging to two political parties"
The Commissioner noted the Mamoth witnessed in the venue of the campaign rally was a clear testimony of what is going to happen in the general election explaining that the state governor has also done well and deserved to be voted Athe second.
He enumerated the governor's projects in the area to include:the Construction of two KM roads for autonomous communities, return of peace to all waring communities in LGA .
