Esthington International Academy, Onueke, has emerged champions of the ongoing Sam Okwaraji Secondary School Football Championship after defeating Government Technical College (GTC), Abakaliki, 2-1 in a thrilling final match played on Saturday at the Pa Ngele Oruta Township Stadium, Abakaliki.
The highly anticipated encounter lived up to expectations, with both teams displaying impressive skill, determination, and sportsmanship throughout the regulation period.
Esthington International Academy took control of the contest and secured a well-deserved victory with two goals, while Government Technical College managed to pull one back in an entertaining and fiercely contested encounter.
