Security operatives have arrested an elderly man allegedly transporting ammunition to bandits operating in the Bagega forest in Anka Local Government Area of Zamfara State.
Intelligence sources told Nigerian Military Gallery that the suspect was apprehended along the Anka–Bagega road during a routine security operation.
The sources said the suspect was intercepted while allegedly attempting to enter Bagega town with a quantity of ammunition believed to be intended for armed bandits hiding in the nearby forest.
