In his response, Hon. Onyia paid glowing tribute to Prince Idike, describing him as a mentor he had admired since their days at Science School, Igbeagu, when Idike served as a member of the Ebonyi State House of Assembly.
He assured his predecessor that the Ministry was in capable hands and pledged to consolidate on the achievements already recorded.
«"The legacies you have left behind will be sustained and improved upon," Onyia said.»
«"We believe in maintaining good relationships because no one knows who may become a source of help tomorrow. It is never wise to burn bridges after crossing them. As my mentor and leader, I will continue to seek your advice and guidance."»
