Hon. Chukwu gave the assurance while speaking with journalists after the Ebonyi Central Senatorial District Town Hall Meeting hosted by the party's senatorial candidate, Prof. Bernard Ifeanyi Odoh.
He expressed confidence in his chances of victory, stating that the people of Ezza South/Ikwo Federal Constituency are eager for credible leadership and a fresh approach to representation at the National Assembly.
"I am confident of victory because I have what it takes to defeat my major opponent. He has represented the constituency for two terms, and many of our people are no longer satisfied with his style of leadership. They are looking for a credible alternative, and I am prepared to offer that alternative," he said.
The NDC House of Representatives candidate further pledged to champion legislation and policies that would directly improve the welfare of the people while attracting meaningful development projects to the constituency.
"The era of intimidation and politics driven by fear is over. We are determined to do things differently by pursuing people-centred laws and policies and attracting projects that will improve livelihoods and accelerate development across Ezza South/Ikwo Federal Constituency," he added.
Hon. Chukwu also urged eligible voters to actively participate in the 2027 general election by supporting all NDC candidates, from the presidential candidate to the State House of Assembly candidates.
According to him, the NDC offers Nigerians a credible platform to address the country's growing socio-economic and governance challenges.
