In a bold move aimed at redefining political engagement and engendering quality and effective representation, the African Democratic Congress (ADC) House of representative candidate for Ezza North/Ishielu Federal Constituency in the forthcoming 2027 general election, Pastor Victor Ngwuebor, has pledged to champion people-Centered representation anchored on robust legislative, Community engagement, Job creation and human capital development, adding that, he will ensure that the voices of all his constituents are not only heard, but actively integrated into his legislative process.
In chat with journalist in Abakaliki, the major contender for the green chambers,in Ezza North/ Ishielu Federal Constituency,Pastor Victor Ngwuebor, assured that aside the core and statutory Legislative duties of lawmaking, oversight function, and bill sponsorship, he has developed empowerment blueprint, where youths, women and the vulnerable people will be adequately empowered financially, and through skills development.
He equally announced his plans to role out scholarship scheme to support the less privileged in his Constituency.
The frontline contender for Ezza North/Ishielu Federal Constituency, Pastor Victor Ngwuebor of ADC, added that he will attract social amenities such healthcare facilities, electricity, water and road rehabilitation and reconconstructions to his constituents, if given the mandate to represent them come 2027 general election.
He emphasized the importance of fostering dialogue with community members. “Listening to the people is essential. I will hold regular town halls and forums to gather input directly from the community,” he stated.
The candidate vowed to keep constituents informed about legislative developments and decision-making processes. “In this journey, transparency will not just be a buzzword; it will be a practice,” he asserted.
Recognizing that not all constituents can easily engage with their representatives, the ADC Candidate promised to create multiple channels of communication, including digital platforms and community outreach initiatives. “I want everyone, regardless of their background or circumstances, to have access to their representative.”
He vowed to ensure that the interests of the youths, women, the marginalized and the underrepresented groups are championed in the legislative arena. "I believes that true representation means reflecting the diversity of our community.”
