The Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Education, Chief Mrs Mary Otozi, has urged proprietors and school managers to ensure that students are provided with well ventilated halls and adequate lighting during examinations, warning that failure to comply could attract sanctions, including withdrawal of approval for affected schools.
Mrs Otozi made the call while appealing to examination bodies and West African Examinations Council officials to improve logistical arrangements to ensure timely delivery of examination materials to schools.
She also advised students to write their examinations with confidence and trust God for successful outcomes.
The Permanent Secretary further urged parents and guardians to report any form of illegal or unapproved levies imposed by schools to the Ministry of Education without delay.
