Reps. Chinedu Ogah Commends APC South East Zonal Congress, Applauds Governor Over Zonal Secretary Return

The Member representing Ikwo/Ezza-South Federal Constituency and Chairman, House Committee on Reformatory Institutions, Rt. Hon. (Comrade) Chinedu Ogah, OON, has commended the successful conduct of the All Progressives Congress (APC) South East Zonal Congress.

The event, held at Hotel Presidential in Enugu on March 25, 2026, witnessed a massive turnout of party faithful and stakeholders from across the region.

Speaking with journalists shortly after the convention, Ogah expressed satisfaction with the organization of the event, praising the peaceful atmosphere that characterized the exercise.

 He noted that the success of the congress reflects unity and the growing strength of the APC in the South East.

He further expressed his joy and reaffirmed his strong support and solidarity with the Executive Governor of Ebonyi State, Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru. Ogah commended the governor’s leadership style and political inclusiveness, particularly applauding his role in facilitating the return of Hon. Innocent Itapa Azuobu as the APC South East Zonal Secretary.

Ogah also expressed confidence in the governor’s leadership, describing the development as a positive step toward strengthening the party’s structure and unity in the region.

The congress attracted several high-profile stakeholders, including the Governor of Imo State, Hope Uzodimma; the Governor of Enugu State, Peter Ndubuisi Mbah; and the Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Benjamin Okezie Kalu.

Also in attendance were the Member representing Afikpo/Edda Federal Constituency, Rt. Hon. Iduma Igariwey Enwo, the Speaker of the Ebonyi State House of Assembly, Moses Ije Odunwa, former ministers, party leaders, and other key stakeholders, underscoring the significance of the convention.
